Bonjour! Want to meet business clients or want to visit French speaking nations? But, language is your barrier, then here are some French sentences that will break the barrier of your language problem.

To acknowledge someone

English: Hi!/Hello!
French: Salut! / Bonjour!
English: Good morning/afternoon/night/day!
French: Bonjour / Bonsoir / nuit / jour!

With strangers

English: Nice weather we have today; don't you think so?
French: Beau temps dont nous disposons aujourd'hui, ne pensez-vous pas?
English: So, do you come here often?
French: Alors, ne vous venez souvent ici?
English: Excuse me.  You look very familiar.  Have we met somewhere before?
French: Excusez-moi. Vous avez l'air très bien. Avons-nous rencontré quelque part?
English: Excuse me.  Can you tell me what time it is?
