Weather: While traveling abroad, make sure you are aware of the weather of the location and if it is suitable to your liking.

Luggage: Avoid carrying unwanted footwear and clothes that will make your luggage bulky. Take as few clothes as possible else they will cost you on laundering. Carry preferably washable and easy to dry silks.

Health: It is important to protect your health while traveling. Find out the types of diseases that are common in that area and take preventive actions against those diseases. Be careful what you eat and drink.

Food: If you are allergic to food, learn the names of those foods in the languages used in the countries you’ll be visiting. This way you’ll be able to avoid unwanted medication during your voyage.

Children : When traveling with children by air, try as much as possible book at non-peak times. Arrive at the airport early. Make sure your child has his own identification. Make sure the card is always in your child’s pocket and has your telephone number, name and their medical concerns.

Cost cutting: Check for booking your vacation as a package. This might be able to save you some overheads such as booking your car along with a certain airline, hotel or attraction ticket package.

Rent a car: While renting a car, it is important to be flexible about your travel plans since this can save you money. The best rates are offered during the off season and at other times when the rental car companies have extra cars sitting around.

Always Carry: Always carry a first aid kit. Take suitable tablets to avoid traveling sickness so that you can enjoy the trip without messing it up. Carry a map of the location. If required a language guide. Also ask carry general phone numbers of local hospitals and important locations.
